Springer Book "Smart Life and Smart Life Engineering: Current State and Future Vision"
Motivated by sustainable, human-oriented, and sentient development of Smart applications, we are observing the emergence of a novel scientific domain, which aims at the systematization of existing knowledge and formulating common principles, design, and development methods, with associated technologies for applications improving the life of Humans. We call this domain Smart Life.
The aim of the given book is to bring together the existing knowledge about various aspects of Smart Life and to move on building the scientific domain of Smart Life Engineering.
Key features are:
- Overview of Smart Life with a very detailed taxonomy of various Smart Life application fields (like Smart Home, Smart Health, Smart Industry, etc. detailed in sub-categories).
- Combination of different aspects related to Smart life: technological, methodological, and domain-oriented.
- Presentation of both scientific and practice-oriented contributions to provide a broader view on Smart Life-related applications and objects.
Many books are available for different sub-topics of Smart Life, like Smart City, Smart Home, Smart Energy, etc. None of the existing books deals with a scope as large as ours.
Welcome contributions include papers on interconnections of Smart Life and Humanity, Methodological challenges of Smart Life Engineering, and Technological issues related to this field.
We expect to receive all kinds of submissions: from theoretical contributions to experience reports.
Possible topics are:
- Maturity growth of Smart Life applications.
- Smart Domains: Smart agriculture, Smart factory, Smart transportation, Smart energy, Smart natural resource management, etc.
- Methodology of Smart Life Engineering: Development Methodology, Requirements Engineering, Quality Models, etc. applied to different Smart domains.
- Smart Technologies: IoT, ML and Big Data, Sensors, etc. in various Smart domains.
- Smart Artefacts: Smart Plains, Intelligent Cars, Smart Products, Smart Mobiles, Smart Wearables, Smart Robots, etc.
